Worship & Giving

The Bible gives us three guidelines in which to give: tithe, sacrifice, and responsibility.

In the Old Testament believers were required to give a tenth of their income to the Lord. The New Testament doesn't specify a tithe but clearly teaches that we have an even greater responsibility on this side of the cross of Jesus Christ. The Christians in Macedonia demonstrated sacrifice as the Bible says "they gave as much as they were able and even beyond their ability" (2 Cor. 8:3).

We believe our responsibility, as followers of Jesus Christ, is to give "according to our ability" (Acts 11:29).  Our giving is a joyful response to the grace we have experienced in and through Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul says, "I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, he became poor, so that through his poverty you might become rich." (2 Cor. 8:8-9).  We do not give to gain God's favor, we give generously as we have received from the Lord.

Investing in your church is both a strategic and wise decision. Strategic because we have the ability to impact this community with the message of hope that is found in Christ. If Addisville is the place where you have the greatest personal accountability and commitment and the place that is feeding you and equipping you, we ask you to invest in Addisville and make it your priority in giving.

Ways to Give

Online Directly to Addisville

Contributions made through this program help to sustain and support our church. These recurring and one-time contributions will be transferred from you checking account or savings account directly to the church. And though you are a participant in the program, you are still free to make other contributions and place in the weekly collection.

A record of each contribution will appear on your monthly bank statement as well as an email confirmation. In addition, we will continue to record and report to you all of your giving, regardless or the method, on the giving statements Addisville Reformed Church provides. The program is convenient, safe, secure, reliable and confidential.

You may increase, decrease, or suspend your giving at any time.

Billpay/Online Checking

Another simple way to give online is through the billpay or online checking option most banks offer. Simply set up how often you would like to give, put "Addisville Reformed Church" in the subject line of the check, and address it to:

945 Second Street Pike Richboro, PA 18954

This process has a normal lag time of 3 days to 1 week's time, depending on when you schedule the payment. This is because the bank cuts a check to Addisville Reformed Church from your account and mails it to our address and we receive the check and deposit it.
