This year, we will reflect on and celebrate A Simple Christmas at Addisville. Although life rhythms continue to change in this time of a global pandemic, we rely on Christ — our Hope and Anchor — more than ever this holiday season. There are several exciting fellowship events and ministry opportunities to look forward to in November and December; we hope you'll join us!

Christmas Eve Worship 2020

Traditionally, Addisville offers three opportunities to gather for Christmas Eve worship — a family service, a traditional service, and a candlelight communion service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, worship services will be different in December 2020.

December 24 at 4:00 PM — Family Service, held outdoors on portico/lawn as planned.
CANCELED: December 24 at 6:00 PM — Candlelight Service
December 24 at 8:00 PM — Candlelight + Communion Service, virtual worship service; watch via our livestream worship page or via Facebook Live

Christmas Caroling

On December 20, at 3 PM, all are welcome to join the H20 youth group for a socially-distanced caroling event out front on the church portico/front lawn. Dress warm to be outside and make sure to wear your masks! Music lyric sheets and hot cocoa will be provided!

Operation Christmas Child

We continue this annual ministry of packing boxes to mail across the world with Operation Christmas Child. Coordinator Barb Gonze and several volunteers have already packed all 300 boxes we planned to ship! Families can still bring home a box or several boxes to pack on their own and return the boxes to church by Sunday, November 22.

Any donations toward the shipping cost of the boxes will be gratefully accepted. There is money in the Missions Committee budget for shipping, but it will not cover all 300 boxes. Please make out a separate check and enter Operation Christmas Child in the memo slot.

Angel Tree

Children all over Bucks County are counting on Addisville Church members to make Angel Tree possible!  Angel Tree shares the love of Christ in a tangible way and strengthens family bonds, delivering personalized gifts and the Gospel to children on behalf of their incarcerated parents at Christmas.

Due to Covid 19, please sign up online to purchase a gift for a child or call the church office at 215-357-4277 for help to find an appropriate child to shop for. After you sign up an “Angel” will be mailed to you so that it can be attached to the gift. Wrapped gifts should be returned to Fellowship Hall by December 1st.  Any questions, please contact Bonnie Drexler.

Advent Devotionals

book covers on blue background with wrapped gifts and candy canesStart thinking now about how you will meet with Christ daily during Advent in the weeks leading up to Christmas. If you need a place to start, there are several free printed copies of devotionals available outside of Natalie Kelly's Christian Ed office. Devotionals include a book for adults called Our Greatest Gift: A Wonderful Life in Christ by Michael Hoy; Advent See-son, a book for teens and young adults, and Seek Out the Savior, a book for young children.

Right Now Media

Addisville has a church-wide membership to Right Now Media, an online library of Biblically-based videos for small groups, families, students, leadership development, and more. There is a wide variety of content available to help you celebrate and cherish the Christmas season. If you don't have an account with Right Now Media and want to use this resource, email Pastor Ryan at
